MoniTwin does not replace ERP, MES, or SCADA systems – instead, it connects, complements, and expands them with a new level of AI-based process monitoring and decision support approach.
ERP systems manage the financial and logistical background of a company's operations: procurement, inventory, orders, invoicing, production plan. MoniTwin uses this data to compare it with actual production performance and signals real-time deviations.


MES systems directly control and monitor production operations – with machine-level instructions and work orders. MoniTwin does not control machines, but monitors and interprets their behavior – analyzing the behavior of the entire plant and interdependencies with the help of AI.
SCADA systems provide low-level control of machines and processes (via PLCs). MoniTwin works with this data – not only collecting it but also interpreting it and comparing it with other sources (ERP, manual input, environmental data).
